Mary Magdalene Christmas Ornament from Inge-Glas of Germany. From the "Bible Stories" collection of Inge-Glass and new for 2008. Comes in a wooden keepsake box.
According to the ancient tradition of the East, Mary Magdalene was a wealthy woman from whom Christ expelled seven demons. During the three years of Jesus' ministry she helped support Him and his disciples with her money. When almost everyone else fled, she stayed with Him at the cross. On Easter morning, she was the first to bear witness to his resurrection.
Handcrafted in Germany. Ornament is mouth blown and hand painted in the Inge-Glas® workshop in Neustadt, Germany; a business owned and operated by the Mueller-Blech family for 14 generations, since 1596.
