Ornament measures approximately 5 1/4" and is made of mouth blown glass and hand painted by skilled artisans. Windmill style ornament decorated in gold, blue, red, and silver with sparkling glitter details.
American Daniel Halladay invented a Farm Windmill in 1854 that could turn to face changing wind directions to harness the wind's power to pump water. Soon windmills appears across the United States by the hundred of thousands and became symbols of the American pioneer farmers.
